Making pots for Yoko to inscribe was something new. Some pieces were made at her suggestion whilst others were my own thoughts as to what seemed suitable. We are both keen to see if we can successfully combine our different east/west aesthetics on the same piece. Likewise, one thing leads to another and it has been nice to try and reflect the significance of some of her characters  with either an echoing English adage, a Latin tag or  some  illustrative brushwork of my own. We look forward to some exciting and adventurous times ahead.
